Who we are and what this policy covers
Clear IT Pricing ("we", "us") runs clearitpricing.com, a guidance site that lets US businesses send a request for IT, cybersecurity or compliance help to a local provider. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy takes effect October 13, 2026. It covers the website and email exchanges with us. It does not cover the IT providers or advisory partners we pass requests to; once they contact you, their own privacy policies apply to what they do with your information.
Information you give us
When you send a request through the form, we collect:
- What you need (ongoing IT support, cybersecurity, compliance or a one-time project)
- Employee count, location and timeline
- Company name, your name and work email
- Phone number and company website, if you choose to give them
- Your consent to share the request and be contacted, and the time you gave it
If you email us, we collect your email address and whatever you include in the message. IT providers who contact us about joining give us business contact details and information about their company.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you visit, the page that referred you, and the date and time of each visit. Our servers and our hosting and security providers keep this data in logs.
The form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check. When it is on, Turnstile reviews signals from your browser and connection to tell people from automated scripts, and Cloudflare processes that data under its own privacy policy.
If we use cookies or analytics tools, they are used to keep the site working, to measure which pages are read, and to understand how visitors find the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, though the bot check may ask you to try again.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Review your request, including automated checks and a human look at anything unusual
- Pass your request to one IT provider or advisory partner so they can contact you
- Reply to your emails and follow up on requests
- Keep the site secure, stop spam and abuse, and fix problems
- Understand which guides are useful and improve them
- Keep records of consent and meet legal obligations
We do not use the details you send in a request to market unrelated products to you.
Referral fees and "selling" personal information
We do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary sense. We do not sell lists, rent email addresses, or pass your request to several buyers.
The provider or advisory partner who receives your request may pay us a referral fee. Some state privacy laws may treat sharing information in return for something of value as a "sale". Sharing your request with that one provider is how the service works, the form tells you so before you send it, and you choose to send it. If you do not want your information shared this way, do not send the form, or email us and we will not pass on a request you have already sent if it has not yet gone to a provider.
Email and phone contact
By sending a request, you agree that the provider who receives it may contact you by email about that request. A provider may call you only if you gave a phone number on the form. Leave the phone field blank and contact stays on email.
To stop contact from a provider, tell that provider directly. To stop emails from us, or to ask us to tell a provider that you no longer want to hear from them, email contact@clearitpricing.com. We act on opt-out requests promptly.
How long we keep it
We keep request details for as long as we need them to run the service, handle follow-ups and provider credits, and keep records of consent, generally up to 24 months after your last contact with us. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period unless needed to investigate abuse. We may keep some records longer where the law requires it. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to the site, access limits on request data, and service providers with their own security programs. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without authorization. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you where the law requires it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know or access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Appeal if we deny your request
We honor these requests for all US visitors, whatever state you live in. To make one, email contact@clearitpricing.com from the address you used, or include enough detail for us to find your records. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. We aim to respond within 45 days, or sooner if a law that applies to your request sets a shorter deadline. You may use an authorized agent, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Deleting your information from our records does not delete copies a provider already received. Contact that provider to ask them to delete theirs.
Children
The site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will tell you before it applies.
