Clear IT Pricing
Clear IT Pricing is an independent guidance site that passes a business's request for IT, cybersecurity or compliance help to one local provider or advisory partner, at no cost to the business; providers may pay Clear IT Pricing a referral fee.

What the form asks and why

Every question on the form is there so the provider who receives your request can send a useful first email instead of a generic sales pitch.

  • What you need. Ongoing IT support, cybersecurity, compliance or a one-time project. This decides whether your request goes to a local IT provider or to an advisory partner.
  • Employee count. Most providers price per user or per device, so size tells them roughly what the work involves. Our managed IT pricing guide explains how those models work.
  • Location (ZIP code). We send requests to providers that serve your area, so someone can come on site when needed.
  • Timeline. Something broken this week is handled differently from a contract renewal next quarter.
  • Company name, your name and work email. This is how the provider reaches you.
  • Phone and website (optional). A website helps the provider understand your business before writing to you. A provider calls only if you give a phone number, so leave it blank to keep contact on email.

If you are unsure which kind of help fits, start with what an MSP is and what it does or the managed IT services overview.

How a request works

  1. 1Tell us what you needTwo short steps: what you need, company size and ZIP, then your name and work email. About a minute.
  2. 2We pass it to one providerOne IT provider that serves your area, or our advisory partner for larger security and compliance projects. Never a group.
  3. 3They email youWithin one business day, to confirm a few details and price it. A phone call only if you gave a number.
  4. 4You decideFree for your business, with no obligation. The provider may pay us a referral fee.
Your details go to one company only. We do not sell lists or pass a request to several providers at once.

What happens to your information

Your request is shared with one provider or advisory partner, and with no other outside business except the service providers that run this site.

After you send it, automated checks look for problems such as an email address that does not work or a submission that looks like a bot. A person reviews anything unusual. We then pass the request to one provider. We do not post it, add it to a list, or send it to several companies at once.

The services that host the site, process the form and send email handle your details on our behalf. Our privacy policy lists what we collect, how long we keep it and how to ask us to delete it.

Who contacts you, and how

One company contacts you: the local IT provider or advisory partner we passed your request to.

For ongoing support and most one-time projects, that is a local IT provider in our network. For larger projects, and for many security and compliance projects such as CMMC preparation or HIPAA compliance work, it may be an advisory partner instead.

They write to you by email within one business day. They call only if you gave a phone number. You are under no obligation to reply, take a meeting or sign anything.

What it costs and how we get paid

Sending a request is free for your business. The provider or advisory partner who receives it may pay Clear IT Pricing a referral fee, and we disclose that on every page, including next to the request form.

The fee is an arrangement between us and the provider. You still pay the provider for any work you hire them to do, under whatever terms you agree with them. Ask for pricing in writing. As a reference point, published pricing guides put fully managed IT for small businesses at $100 to $250 per user per month 1. Our pricing guide breaks down what changes that number.

What we do and what we do not do

We publish plain-English guides and connect you with one provider. That is the whole service.

We do:

  • Publish sourced guides on costs, services and rules
  • Review each request before it goes anywhere
  • Pass it to one provider or advisory partner

We do not:

  • Install, manage, monitor or secure any systems
  • Endorse, rate or vouch for any provider
  • Give legal advice or tell you what a regulation requires of your business
  • Sign contracts or negotiate on your behalf

Before you hire anyone, check references and read the contract terms yourself. Our guide to how to choose an MSP lists the questions to ask, and cybersecurity for small business covers the baseline protections a provider should be able to explain.

If you do not hear back

If no one has emailed you within one business day, check your spam folder, then write to us at contact@clearitpricing.com with the work email you used and the date you sent the request. We will follow up with the provider. Other ways to reach us are on the contact page.

Common questions

Will I get spam calls?

No. Your request goes to one provider, not a list, and that provider calls only if you gave a phone number. Leave the phone field blank if you want email only.

Do you sell my information?

We do not sell lists or pass your request to several buyers. We share it with one provider or advisory partner, who may pay us a referral fee, because that is the service you ask for when you send the form. Our privacy policy explains this in full.

What if I don't like the provider?

You do not have to work with them. Tell them no, and let us know at contact@clearitpricing.com if they did not treat you well. If you want to talk to someone else, we can check whether another provider in our network covers your area and need.

How fast will someone contact me?

Within one business day, by email. A request sent on a Friday evening will usually be answered on Monday.

Does it cost anything to send a request?

No. The service is free for businesses. Providers may pay us a referral fee when we pass them a request, and any work you hire them for is priced between you and them.

Do you recommend specific IT companies?

No. We do not rate, rank or endorse providers. We pass your request to one provider that covers your area and need, and you decide whether they fit.

Can I use the form for a one-time project?

Yes. Choose one-time project on the first step, for example an office move, a server replacement or a Microsoft 365 migration, and describe your timeline.
